Red face Can i give apple puree to my 6 months old baby?

“An apple a day keeps the doctor away”
Apples are truly a wonder fruit and they may be one of your baby’s first foods. One of the most important nutritional components of apple is that they contain two types of fiber insoluble fiber and soluble fiber. Apples are also very versatile and may be added to almost any baby recipe your find.
Apples are a popular fruit, containing antioxidants, vitamins, fiber, and a range of other nutrients. They are juicy, sweet, have Vitamin C, are low in calories and have about 5 g of fiber for an unpeeled whole apple.
Let’s see the benefits of giving apple puree to your baby
1. Apples are nutritious
2. Boost immune system
3. Rich in vitamins
4. Reduces health risk
5. A great source of fiber
6. Improves digestion
Give your baby goodness of apple puree, you can either make it at home or buy ready to eat puree. But see to it that the food that you are giving to your baby should be free from any kind of preservatives, salt, sugar, additives, colors, and flavors.

In general, babies should begin weaning from milk directly onto regular food they can pick up and put into their own mouths. Spoon feeding purees can lead to overfeeding. Simply use a fork to grate off shavings of raw apple and put it in front of baby. Better, try mushed avocado instead of apple. The balance of fat is better than just the sugar rush of apple. Let baby use their fine motor skills and hand eye coordination to get the food to their mouth.

Signs a baby is ready to add solids to their milk:

Ability to sit up
Interest in what others are eating
Pincer grasp
At least one tooth

There are more cues and the presence of just one doesn't mean it's time to move ahead with weaning (even if nursing continues for many years, which it should, the first bite of food is technically "weaning", as is the first sip from a bottle for babies who have been fed from the breast only).

Bring back the old MDC
