I'm guessing most of all the people in here are holding their babies by now (that or forgot this site's existence.) Hopefully we'll get a few more birth stories though. Is it bad that I prefer the ones about horrible complicated labors? I suppose it's because I can relate better. I certainly can't relate to going into labor naturally, that is something I will likely never experience due to my predesposition to pre-eclampsia

Totally had a baby and forgot to come update. Will share the birth story soon but for now...

We added our first boy to our family on Sept 17th - he was a tiny little 8lbs15oz (for us that is tiny, lol) and I spend most of the day commenting how precious he is. Big sisters are in love too and everyone is doing well. Another successful waterbirth at home.

Babe arrived at 39w6d just like my youngest. So much for my plans to go until the 20th.

Congratulations @xixstar !! I'm so glad you're doing well!

I had my second baby, Penelope, on Tuesday September 29! She was 7lbs 4oz, 20" long and is just so sweet. It's currently a bit of a struggle adjusting to life with two, but I will update as soon as possible.

I'm in the same boat as you ladies - too busy to update properly (and adjusting to two! ah!) but I had my little darling Margot Isabelle on September 24. I was 41w2d and we had a very SHORT, EASY home birth - 2 hours start to finish - I can't wait to share the birth story! My midwife only made it with 10 min to spare - they almost had to call EMT. We barely got DD1 out of the house in time.

Baby girl was 7lb 8oz 20.5" long. She is sooooo sweet and peaceful and big sister is loving having a real life baby around. Tandem nursing has been going well, too. The most overwhelming part so far has been all the visitors... but that will be over soon.

Wife to DH, stay at home mama to DD1 (10.01.13) and DD2 (09.24.15)! Expecting #3 Sept 2018

Yeah life with 2 babies sure changes things. It now takes me over 2 hours to prepare dinner with the frequent interruptions.

How's everyone doing? My little one makes all sorts of cute cooing noises and has even learned the exaggerated cry now. I assume that's the "I'm bored" cry. She's going through a growth spurt right now. Lots of feedings all day and then super eager feedings and excessive air swallowing at night. She's been projectile vomiting 3-5 times a night for the past 3 days. I'm so far behind on laundry! Ugh.

How are the rest of you doing with your newborns?

We are doing well here! I just survived my first full week as a stay at home mom of 2, which was quite an adventure. DD2 is now 5 weeks old, smiling a lot, cooing a bit. She has such a calm, peaceful energy about her, which I really adore since her sister is very loud and spirited (and amazing!) and always has been. It'll be fun to see their personalities develop together.

Nursing is going well though I did have some issues with oversupply a couple weeks ago, it's balanced out, that and I gave up all dairy/hidden dairy so she's a bit happier in general. Sleep is good some nights, awful others. I have to go to bed at 930 to feel human. We're 4 in the bed now which has been fine surprisingly.

I went to the chiro yesterday for the first time since birth and it made a big difference in how I feel. All this baby wearing and nursing does a number on my back and neck.

Definitely behind on laundry and so many other things too! We'll get into a rhythm soon enough.

I feel like we are finally getting into a groove as we creep up on the 2 month mark. Little lady was having some colicky nights and someone told me about infant probiotic drops - they have made a significant difference! She can actually rest in the evening now I highly recommend them for anyone having unusually fussy nights.

I've had to take it a little easier this time around. I think I caused a prolapse trying to do too much too soon with my 2 yo. Midwife told me to limit lifting and baby wearing and work on Kegels and it should heal. I'm so ready to feel back to normal!

@mrsvintage what brand of probiotic drops are you using?? I'm all about anything to help colicky evenings! Hope you are feeling back to your old self soon.

@sarahl918 I'm using mother's bliss but the Gerber ones were recommended to me (our CVS was sold out of those!). They are expensive but soooo worth it, around $30 for a tiny essential oil style bottle.

@mrsvintage I am totally going to give them a shot. I have been up way too much the last two nights and my DH is going out of town this weekend for the first time so I'll take any help I can get.
