Hi @fayebond I might lurk in the oct ddc a bit since my edd is sept 26, and I have a feeling baby will come in October. I hate that unsettled feeling. That's pretty much been me all day today. Yuck.

I'm feeling overall okay. I'm tired, have intermittent bouts of nausea but not enough to want to puke, and apparently my lactose intolerance is going to be way worse this time around. :-( I know every pregnancy is different, but I can't help but think I feel so much better this time around because both my thyroid and anemia are currently controlled. I will also be better off down the road in that I won't have the AWFUL pain of DeQuervain's, which reared its ugly head last pregnancy and I have since had both hands surgically corrected.

He told me he's moving out asap
6 kids alone.
Party on.
Cried all day.

8 might be enough?
Or maybe 9 will be?

@Shiloh - How awful! I'm so sorry he is being such a jerk! I also can't believe he is putting it all on you because clearly he had something to do with your getting pg. :-(

I haven't had any morning sickness yet. Last pregnancy it started around 8 weeks. I am about 7 weeks now...so the count down begins.

I had a freak out moment yesterday bc I hadn't had any symptoms and went and got another pregnancy test to ensure that my line wasn't fading. I'm not sure how long after a m/c you would experience a drop in hormones anyway, but seeing a super dark line (darker than the control) made me feel a lot better regardless.

I am having headaches, but I thought they were from a sinus infection that developed around week 2-3ish. I'm still not sure if they are from hormones or what, but it hurts and Tylenol is a freaking joke.

Ive noticed a bit of fatigue, but not too much yet.

Yesterday was I was extremely nauseous and emotional and ended up just blurting it out to DH. He is excited, I think he was concerned for me since I was so miserable yesterday.

This may be a girl. I had a lot of nausea with my girl pregnancy and not much with my boys. This isn't as bad as before but definitely worse than the boys. I have heard morning sickness decreases with age so there is that. Plus I took the super accurate Chinese gender predictor and it said girl lol.

Anyway, glad the hubby knows now. He is really being super sweet and I have an u/s on Tues so he will go to that with me.

Aw, yay for telling your husband @JuniperC exciting that you have an u/s soon too!
@smilez4u0102 I'm glad your test looked so good! Headaches are awful, and I agree, Tylenol is crap.
@Shiloh I hope you're doing ok ️ I've been thinking of you!

Afm- I feel like I've been hit by a truck. I've been so nauseous all day. Plus just exhausted and struggling with headaches. I had morning sickness with my daughter, but I don't remember feeling this run down. Maybe I just blocked that memory haha? But man, I'm hoping this won't get much worse because I really don't know how I'll be able to function if it does.

I haven't updated here for a month. I'm 8 weeks today and everything seems to be going fine. I went in to see my OB 1 week ago to discuss a medication and she ended up doing a dating ultrasound since I was very sure I conceived very late in my cycle. As it turns out, I was completely right with my dates! I'm glad to have the latest due date possible because I will most likely have GD with my pregnancy and they generally don't want you to go past 40 weeks. I'll take any extra time I can get.

I haven't been feeling nauseous but I do have a constant "unsettled" feeling in my stomach. I have to eat lots of small meals. I'm also pretty tired and napping doesn't seem to help much. I just drag through my day. My OB offered me the option to take the glucose test earlier than 28 weeks. Based on my weight gain last pregnancy it's possible I had GD before I took the test. She said it's completely up to me. I'd like to be proactive about this so I'll probably take it between 15-20 weeks.

After an incredibly awful yesterday (bad day + hormones + ms). Today is looking up. I had a dating ultrasound and heard the heartbeat. I was good with my dates which was actually surprising because they were based on what I thought was the day of my last cycle and the day that I got the faintest line ever on my dollar store pregnancy test. 8 weeks, 1 day !!!!

@JuniperC I'm glad today is better! And yay for an ultrasound and sweet little heartbeat

Does anyone know if slimfast or protein shakes are ok during pregnancy? Not as a meal replacement at all, just as a quick snack?

I think they have a lot of additives and chemicals in them.
But they're probably safe still.

I got my betas for 7.5 weeks 67101! I'm still worried about a loss but those are great numbers!

8 might be enough?
Or maybe 9 will be?

Not talking about it but back to normalish. I'm too tired and too sick to think about his baggage. I'm going back to my pregnancy psych sessions soon.

Just want to quickly chime in to say this is the part of pregnancy I hate most. Most days I don't even bother getting dressed. I feel so sick all day and night. Nothing sounds good and if it does, after I eat it once it goes on the black list. Even my nausea cures are making me sick - I can't look at ginger or preggie pops. Yesterday I had a horrible headache. I've been getting those weird body aches/chills, not painful just kind of an overall feeling of ICK. My daughter is cutting four teeth right now and so her sleep at night is not great. Nursing a lot too. Last night I finally caved and gave us both Tylenol and I went to bed at 9. I have been trying magnesium oil/Epsom salt baths. So desperate to feel better. Wish I could just throw up! And sleep all day. Blah. Whine whine whine.

Thanks for listening

I'm sure they are fine. If you are really worried, check with your doc.

Anyone know why there isn't an October group yet? I don't have my dating u/s until Tuesday, but if I ovulated late (as I think I did) that would put me due around October 3. Besides, two awesome groups are better than one, right?

Thanks sara,
I was feeling the same today.
Like how can I make it through this. I feel like roadkill. I keep dozing off during the day.
I eat but feel so crappy.
I needed to hear I'm not alone.
Dp thinks when I share it's just an excuse why the house is messy

8 might be enough?
Or maybe 9 will be?

@fluffyflamingo a DDC won't be started until requested, and it needs to have a couple volunteer leaders to begin with. There is a thread about it somewhere, Cynthia mosher (mod) can help

Only have a sec, but eager to be more involved.

We are sedentary. I can't bring myself to go out when it's cold, and my nausea is disabling. I think I nearlu fainted several times in the shower today. (BUT I showered!! Hooray) I've been trying to tell my best friend that I'm pregnant all week, but we keep missing each other and it's driving me so. very. crazy.

I've been hiding in the basement with the tv and a store-bought bottle of yerba mate. The whole upstairs smells like food. I haven't been able to watch this much tv in years. Husband is playing with our toddler - they just romped through with fingerpaints and she was wearing one of his work shirts as a smock.

I forgot how rough the first tri is! I feel rotten today. Then I got in an argument with my husband because he plans to spend all day tomorrow working on a house project, and I just need a freaking break. Which I won't get. I watch a little boy at our house 5 days a week along with our daughter. I deserve a weekend too

So frustrated with feeling awful. Staying hydrated and even just eating enough is a struggle. And today have a headache too -- I'd be happy to have the headache instead of feeling sick too but I'm not that lucky. I have a class this weekend and really dreading being in class 5pm-9pm tonight when I'm usually feeling really awful then and then another 16 hours of classes Saturday and Sunday. Ugh.

Karen happily married mother of 3 great children (19, 6, 5), in my last semester for my Masters in Nutrition and started a six-month internship.
