Anyone else out there too chicken to test?

I have been trying to conceive since January. My DS is 2.5 years old, and I breastfed until he was two, but weaned in part to get my cycle back. It was really erratic for a while, and eventually my doctor put me on Clomid. After 3 months of Clomid I finally ovulated this month!

My cycle has been a consistent 28 days since Clomid. I am currently on day 29, but I can't bring myself to test. I just don't want to see a negative. I did test 11 DPO with a negative, but I'm hoping that was too early??

So, any other wimps out there?

I'm planning to test at 24DPO because I just don't want to see a BFN.

I wish I had that problem! It is a great idea to wait to test because seeing a BFN can be really upsetting. If I could, I would wait until at least 18 DPO to test.

It is driving me crazy, and I am then driving my husband crazy. He is always so laid back, with a "if it happens, it happens" attitude. For me it is occupying my every thought.

I have just felt different for the past week or so. I huge array of symptoms. It might be the clomid, or maybe...

Its 2pm on day 29- I get nervous every time I go to the bathroom. Please please no AF.

I think I will break down and test tomorrow.

OK, I did something stupid. I ran up and took a test. I've had about 10 glasses of water today, and it definitely wasn't the first pee of the day. Of course it was a BFN and I'm disappointed. I am going looney this month.

YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH! Thank you God. I just tested this morning. I'm 16 DPO and I got two lines. I'm so excited I don't know what to do with myself. I knew. I mean, I could tell my body felt really different, but I didn't want to get too hopeful, read to much into it.

I have no one to tell! I tried just telling my 2.5 DS and he just pushed me out of the way of Zoboomafoo on TV. It is too early to call anyone and I'm the only one up. We just moved across country so all my girlfriends are 3 hours behind me.

I guess it is a good lesson in not testing too early. I tested with those ultra senstive "aimsticks" from Babyhopes and it came up negative 11 DPO. Yesterday I stupidly took a test in the middle of the day after many glasses of water. If my memory serves me correctly, I did the same thing with my DS and it took quite a while to come up pregnant.

It hasn't sunk in yet. I feel so incredibly blessed and thankful. Thank you for listening.
