early heart rate

Hi everyone,
I'd love to hear about your heart rates during this pregnancy or how previous pregnancies turned out. I'm almost 12 weeks and my little one has had a heart rate of 170-180 consistently. In fact I check regularly at work and the lowest I have ever gotten is 171. I have heard that that is associated with trisomies and heart defects and, of course, I'm quite anxious about it. Has anyone had normal outcomes at that rate? Or has that now. I know up to 180 can be normal earlier on (~9 weeks) but I think it should have slowed significantly by now.

mine are in the 160s.. have you considered doing one of the early screens for the trisomies? I did informaseq which can be done at 10 weeks and it can tell you about the trisomies and also gender..
This may help your concern..
