@TealCandy !! I tried the magnesium oil, and I think it helped!!!! I'm sure it could be in my head, but I woke up twice last night, and both times I vaguely remember just very easily slipping back to sleep - yes! I'm going to try again tonight...thanks for the tip

Finally feeling better at 18 weeks! I've developed a bit of SPD, so workouts have been tough to get in. I'm trying to do walks and gardening, but it doesn't feel quite the same. My energy is coming back and I'm finally getting a bit of the nesting boost, which is good because we have a lot to clear out and organize before this babe shows up. Otherwise, just chugging along. I'm trying to focus on eating more veggies and healthy foods to make up for the months of simple carbs from before. Overall, if I can keep the SPD under control, I think things are looking up for a bit here.

I'm almost 18 weeks and feel like I'm just on the cusp of being free of all the 1st trimester awfulness too. Still waiting on my energy boost though.
Yay I'm glad your insomnia is leaving, whether its the mag oil or not!

@LilyTiger glad you mentioned a nesting boost - THATS what I must have had this past weekend! I went a little crazy with sewing and crafting projects for baby - we have so much else to do, but it was all I could think about - the nesting urge makes it make more sense! I started and almost finished a little black and white mobile out of ping pong balls, sewed a super fuzzy cover for our bassinet mattress (that will act more as a playmat than a sleeping surface, I think) and cut and sewed the first batch of wipes from a few of DS's old flannel receiving blankets.

Glad you and @TealCandy are both starting to feel a bit better!

It's so funny, isn't it? I was all of a sudden like "LET'S ORGANIZE SOMETHING!!!" It comes out of nowhere.
