Nausea has been so bad!!! I am 10 weeks now (as of yesterday) and it's finally starting to chill out a bit. Definitely spend all day everyday queasy and the slightest thing can set it off, but at least I don't feel on the verge of puking at every waking moment! That's a relief! Who knew I could put up with all-day queasy?! Definitely been hard to eat well, and still can't stomach much (and hardly any veggies), but it's getting a little better, so I am hoping 2nd trimester to go back to my very high veggie diet! Next week we go in for the dating ultrasound (the first, and one of the only, ultrasounds we'll have, as we're working with a midwife, not a doctor). Definitely looking forward to seeing the little tiny fetus (it just stopped being an embryo! woo!) that's already shaped pretty baby-like, and hearing that heart beat to make it all feel so much more real, instead of like the longest, most drawn-out case of food poisoning ever! I am seriously so impatient for this appointment to come! It took 2½ years to get pregnant, and I almost can't believe it's finally happened. I think our ultrasound appointment is going to be very emotional for us! 😉

TTC w/ frozen donor sperm at home. queer, 34. DW is 43.

I just wanted to say hi! I'm also queer, due in November. It took us a long time, we started 2.5 years ago. We had three losses, switched from frozen to a known donor, saw a fertility specialist. It's been super tough but I'm hopeful that this is my rainbow.

I'm sorry about the nausea it's the worst! I'm 12 weeks now and I am starting to slowly feel better. I had the all day queezies myself, and ate EVERYTHING to try to keep it at bay. We're hoping to have a home birth and little intervention, but I've had a fair amount of attention (ultrasound at 7 weeks, doppler every week from 9 weeks) as this is super scary due to our losses. I need the reassurance and to know that baby is still alive and growing in there. I feel super grateful to have amazing care, I'm seeing my integrative doctor and my midwife for now, and they're both super supportive.

Anyway it's nice to find someone else like minded and queer also due in November!

Hi you guys! Doing well here too. Already 12 weeks too! We have been for our NIPT test and our 1st trimester scan. Everything looks good just waiting on our NIPT results this week. B Currently with a OB but will be transfering to a midwife once we get back to Houston. Currently we are in the middle east. Not feeling to bad now that morning sickness has subsided. Getting some reflux which sucks. Started drinking pepermint tea to day to see if that will help and headed to get some papaya enzymes this morning.

Fun loving crunchy mommy to an amazing outgoing adventurous boy named Logan Cloud 2/2/07 and our little ball of energy Jayden Edge 11/28/10 and our princess Sky Pearl (9/16/14)and wife to Jet 7/3/05
