And no this doesn't violate the rules, it isn't about a WAHM.....Well I put my first two children (poor dears) in paper crap, err I mean diapers. Anyway I had a big problem with a pack of Luvs when my middle son was about 6 months old (he just turned 4) The tabs were not securely attached and they just pulled off when you went to put the diaper on. It was the WHOLE pack, and at nearly $20 a pack I was QUITE upset about it . So I called the # on the package, gave them all the info, read them the riot act about how upset I was and how I NEEDED these dang diapers and they were all worthless...Blah blah blah.... They said they would send a coupon for a free package and some money off other packages, they told me it would take 2-3 weeks for them to arrive.

LOL I had two kids, I was busy and never really gave it another thought. Guess what I got in the mail on Fri? LMAO yep the coupon for the free pack of luvs and money off other packages! LMAO like I need them now!? I mean he is 4!! And not only that but EWWW. I gave them to my SIL who uses DD's (I have tried *sigh*) anyway I thought "gee that is a way to keep customers no WONDER I cloth diaper! LMAO"

That is crazy!!! I guess they think people *have* to use disposables, so what's the point of trying to satisfy their customers? We'll show 'em!!!!!

When I sposied my first I had a problem w/ Pampers. They REEKED! I had no idea diapers where "supposed" to smell like that! I called them and went off about how sick the fumes made me! LMAO! They sent me a coupon for a free super mega box. I ended up using Huggies becuase they don't have perfume in them. I wish I had known about cloth back then.

Yeah and the funniest part is the letter that came with the coupons had the DATE of my call on it! LMAO so they KNOW it was 3 1/2 years ago that I called to complain! I guess they were hoping my child hadn't potty trained yet?! "oh delay that training, give us more of your money, they don't REALLY need to potty train by school" LMAO Well then maybe they will get disposable clothes, and undies, and well they have disposable everything else don't they?

I'm sure they knew exactly what they were doing. "Wait until the kid's out of the diapers to send her the coupon, she'll have to keep buying them in the meantime." : I'd bet they do that to everyone who calls and complains. Saves them having to give away a lot of packages of diapers that way.

I can't believe that! My Goodness- that's just ridiculous! (sp?) At least you have become enlightened and don't have any reason to use that coupon yourself.

That is just weird. I would have to call and see why it took them so long to send the coupon. I would love to hear their reasoning. Mostly if you sent a letter to the top dogs. I worked in Public Relations and Customer Service before and if something like that happened in our company and someone called us on it, it would be EMBARRASSING and lots of people would be getting lectures. You could stir things up - that would be kind of fun.

I can't believe they bothered to send the coupons so much later. I mean, how long do they keep those records. I had a similar problem with a package of huggies (they leaked horribly and had tabs that tore off) and I got a replacement coupon within a week and a half.

Now that is a long wait for a reply. Some people must go into hypersleep with customer service. :
