If I bought some tickets for the Elbee raffle? Maybe just one? I can't stop looking at the pics and would love to just feel I had a chance. So will that count as spending $ on diapers? Or maybe all you should buy up the tickets before I cave and do it.

I think its ok to buy a raffle ticket. Its more like you are giving your $ to charity imo.

I think if you just bought one you can "chalk it up" to charity - but more than that you're in hyena territory.....

Hey, don't be so hard on yourself. It has to be very hard going from full tilt to zilch, no matter how much you *need* to. This is just the beginning of getting on the wagon for you. Just hop back on when you fall off and try not to beat yourself up too much.

Aha...I'm not the only one who tries to make it through a day w/out buying something and can't! But I disagree with the others, I think you're cheating. Because if you're anything like me, it wouldn't be a charity thing why I bought it, it would be that nasty addiction seeping through. And the desire to visit the pp website at least once a day! :

I think you're doing great mama! It's so hard to quit cold turkey. The raffle ticket is ok and is not cheating- its for a great cause The wipes.......well did you really need them? If you NEEDED them then it's not wrong either. You've deffinately stopped buying dipes and you are putting up a lot of nice fluff up for sale so you are heading in the right direction. Stay on the wagon and if you feel yourself starting to waiver come and post here, we'll help in any way we can cause we ya.

No I didn't need the wipes but I had a reason for buying them. Some of them are the same print as my VK diapers. So I figured if I had the print on a wipe it would be easier to let go of the diaper with the same print. Oh my hyena mind.

You're headed down the right path... keep strong!!

Financial issues can get SO serious SO fast, and you owe it to yourself to stay strong and get out of this mess.

There's a fine line between having a bit of fun and getting yourself into SERIOUS financial trouble.

When you can't make a bill, it's time to re-evaluate, ya know?
