Hurrah! Pre-planned twins!! haha

I keep hoping DP is pregnant with twins, but it's not likely... plus she keeps saying she's gonna kill me if I wish that one more time aloud.

On a side note, since this is a poly thread after all, I miss my boyfriend. He's so MIA lately. Argh.

I think twins would be easier as babies 5 and 6 than as 2 and 3, for example. That said, I'm perfectly content to have kids one at a time.

Well, Beltaine was everything that I could have hoped for. We had a simply amazing time. I can hardly wait to see him again! I'm only irritated that I forgot to ask him about a pseudonym.

Exciting news on my front:

I got to meet my secondary's parents this weekend. His whole family is from Brooklyn, NY so it has been a blast hearing them deal with southern hospitality and twang! they are great people and i cannot wait one day to call them family

So I asked the new lover what he wanted for a pseudonym and he said "My pseudonym is Jason", so that's what we're going with. He's delicious and I miss him.

my update - I finally got to spend a night with this woman I've been having an "affair" with online... it was wonderful
So far my DP is fine with it, though he doesn't know her, and her DP... well, he's doing his best to give us the space

Congrats, majikfaerie! Fun stuff!

The closest I'm likely to be to Jason the rest of the month is half an hour from now, when I mail him my math homework.

ah well. it's hard having a relationship with someone who lives 4.5 hours away. but at least it's better than the other woman I'm flinging with atm, who is on the other side of the world. oh if only my teleport machine weren't on the fritz!

My DP, while always fine with my playing with other girls, recently gave me permission to play with this other guy... So far it's been GREAT! I feel like I'm finally starting to live, love and enjoy the poly life.

I just wanted to say hi. I've been reading this thread forever now and have learned a lot from it. Didn't want to just lurk anymore because it feels kind of creepy.

I was raised Pagan and poly was everywhere in my family. I believe very much in the poly lifestyle and I've seen it work out great for many families. Though I'm single right now because my husband left me for our "other woman". But I'm sure it wont take me too long before I feel ready to dive back into the dating game.

So I doubt I'll have much to say for a while. But again, just wanted to introduce myself here.

hi guys! i have a delima....

i recently had a date with a guy just in town for business but we met on another site before he came here and we got along so great we decided to have a date. it went wonderfully and he is such a great guy.

but now i have feelings for him and he is all the way in Oregon...

i dont want a long-distance relationship but he is such a great guy and treated me SO WELL while he was here. I think he likes me too but i am not sure and I feel silly. do I tell him my feelings and see how it goes? or do i keep quiet and slowly suffer?

Hello all

A couple weeks back I had a platonic sleep over with my ex-bf. He had a bad date and I asked if he wanted to hang, he agreed. We had some drinks, watched a movie, and he invited me to crash there. I told him I wanted to hold him and he let me. He also cuddled me for a bit also. I did ask flat out if I would get to play with him again in the future, he answered 'no'. He was not clear about it in the past.

Tomorrow I have a date planned with a new guy that lives in the Bronx (about 1.5 hours from me). He is married and new to poly. Does not communicate much, so that makes me nervous. Do not even have the date details down yet.

On Friday I have a date planned with another new guy that lives in Albany (2 hours in the opposite direction as the first guy). He is married with children. We have in common that we homeschool, garden, and are aware of healthy eating.

I still have an intense attraction to my co worker that I hang out with frequently. It is tough to have these feelings and I can't act on them He knows how I feel.

Enjoy! Shane

majikfaerie: Glad you got to spend time with your gf finally! How exciting!!

MommyBear: Yay for new play!!!

Melaya: How nice to be raised that way! My parents would have just died before they even let me know those things existed.

BettinaAuSucre: Tell him how you feel! What have you got to lose?

shanetedissac Hmmm... I'm always wary of non-communicators. The guy in Albany sounds super nice though! And too bad about your co-worker. A co-worker of Sonja's recently invited us over for dinner... We're pretty sure that she and her husband were trying to hint that they wanted "something" from us, but you shouldn't sh** where you eat, right?

My bf recently got us an AMAZING price on a new bed (I met him when he delivered my mkother's mattress. lol); it's discounted by $1200!! Yay for king size!! This is really what we need right now since DP and I are sleeping on a foam mattress topper on a double boxspring and we plan to co-sleep when the baby comes.

BAS; I'm so not the one to give advice - I'm in not one, but 2 long-distance r'ships, and it's sheer torture. but I can't help it - I'm so deeply in love with both women that the distance doesn't change anything (except the frequency of )

shanetedissac, I'm also wary of non-communicators. open honest communication is a huge need for me

What's wrong with long distance relationships, BAS? I mean aside from the fact that there isn't quite as much "", as majikfaerie put it.

And i need A LOT of that in a relationship. I cannot connect to a person with some sort of intimacy. And eventually the relationship will have to become non-long distance, otherwise whats the point? Id rather start local and work toward long term than wait and wait and hope and pray that something magical happens that brings the person to my area.

Good Morning

I received a text from Jason last night, the guy in Bronx that I had not heard from. It looks like our date today will be a go. He found us a place to have dinner at. I asked him what I needed to budget for the date and he offered to pay, I like that.

I was able to chat on line with Chris from Albany. It was nice to have a chat vs email. Instant talk back and fourth was very nice. Quicker to get to know each other a bit. He is driving all the way to me to meet on Friday. That is over a 2 hour drive for him! And to boot I don't get out of work till 9pm. He is meeting me at my work place. No idea what we are going to do. Prolly go to the local 24 hours diner.

I also had an impromptu chat with a guy on OKC last night. Justin is his name. Lives about 45 min away. While I was logged into OKC I saw that he had viewed my profile just as I was there, so I started a chat. I'm farily comfortable chatting with anyone to begin with.

To the member that is getting a new bed, that is awsome! A king size bed would be lovely. Would have been super lovely around here when we were co-sleeping. No more babies or little boys in this house.

Enjoy your day. Shane

I'm collecting quite a few play partners lately, it seems. I have my DP, my girlfriend, this new male play partner (swoon) and another girl I met while at coffee with the new male. Tonight there is a gathering called Kinky Coffee and I'm sure that will be fun. The best thing is that my curfew tonight is much later since my LOs will be with their bio dad. I'm just about giddy
