my 4 1/2 month old has starting refusing my left breast. I have no idea why. he pulls off of it and screams almost everytime i try him on it. He latches to the right one just fine. Is it possible to have a low supply in ONE breast?
I also just got my period back, could that affect it?
Thank in advance

Some kids have favorite sides. Both my younger man cubs preferred my left side.

Does he protest every time you tried to feed him on the left side? Any possibility you guys have thrush? I've never heard of only one breast having true low supply issues. Maybe you could you nurse him a little on the right and then switch him over to the left once he is in "FEED" mode. You can sustain a baby with only feeding on one breast. Might make you look a bit lopsided (o) ( O ) (My attempt at illustrating lopsidedness) But I think that this might be a phase and he'll soon settle in and accept both sides. I look forward to hearing what everyone else has to say.
