Michael Jeter who played Mr Noodle's brother Mr. Noodle, ,has died.

This is so sad, first MR. Rogers, now Mr. Noodle.

link to a story about his death

We love Mr Noodles antics around here. "Noo-oooo mist-ter nooo-dle ! that's not how you ride a bike ! Mis-ter Nooo-dle ! Sit on the seat Mis-ter Noo-dle..."

He was a lot of fun.

And he will be missed.

Does anyone remember when Mr. Hooper died? They handled it on Sesame St so brilliantly. I hope they'll address this on the show.

Oh, I do remember that -- it would be great if they did something similar. I wonder, though, if they will address it all.

Mr. Noodle's brother, Mr. Noodle, is the short one.

He just joined the show, it seems.

I never figured out why the original Mr. Noodle left the show. Anyone know? I know he's come back a few times to hang with his brother.

I am really sad. I don't believe Mr. Noodle's brother, Mr. Noodle, is really Mr. Noodle's brother in real life.

I am really sad. He looks like my dad in the face, and Jackson adores Mr. Noodle. He sings that Elmo's world song constantly, from some cowboy Elmo's world. "Wild wild west wild wild west wild wild west." Mr. Noodle and his brother Mr. Noodle are so cool. Such amazing dancers. I love Sesame Street.

I wasn't too upset about Mr. Rogers because I wasn't allowed to watch him as a child, but Mr. Noodle breaks my heart.

Aww, poor Mr. Noodle! DS loves Elmo's world.

He was brilliant in "The Fisher King" does anyone remember that?

He seemed like such a gentle soul. I'm glad that he seemed to love the kids as much as they loved him.

I didn't know anything about this Noodle guy, so the penny didn't drop until I saw Michael Jeter's obit. He was good in The Fisher King, and The Green Mile, although I don't think I ever need to see that execution again.

This is very sad. Julia loves Mr. Noodle's brother Mr. Noodle. We have a little Elmo's world toy that my mom got her from Avon and there's a little Mr. Noodle doll in it that I just found the other day..he was gone for months. Strange. Also, I found out that the man that played Gordon died recently too. enough with all the deaths of these nice people that kids love!
