Mesa was nursing last night and I was telling her about the first time she nursed and her birth and then I said "Since 4 year olds still nurse, do 5 year olds?" and she nodded. So I said "When do they stop?" She popped off and looked at my right in the eyes and said "When they die."

She is just too sweet

How cute! What a sweet story

About 6 months ago I asked ds when he was going to stop nursing...he asked me why I would want him to stop drinking such healthy milk!

What cute nurslings!

My 4.5 year old says he'll wean "when the baby's born" (in September ... he'll be 5). However, it will be interesting to see, as I'm sure he'll forget as soon as he realizes that I have an abundance of milk!

My 2.5 year old dd says she'll wean either when she's 16 like our friend Rachel (who actually just turned 17) or when she has her own babies.

Mama to A (12), Z (11), H (9), C (5), A (3) and 4 angels.
