My almost 16 mo old son hasn't nursed in days. He eats solids like crazy -- he asks for them, and asks for water, or for formula. (I've had to supplement with formula for a while b/c getting the depo shot killed my supply before I knew any better; please don't flame me.) I just tried nursing/pumping. He got his mouth on it, and it seemed like when he got a taste of it, he wanted nothing to do with it. I only managed to get 1/2 oz out when I pumped, then offered him that. Again, he tasted it and turned away. I've heard that the return of AF can affect the taste of milk, and I'm actually waiting to POAS this coming Tuesday to see if I'm pg.

Could he be done nursing? Should I keep offering? I feel... rejected when he doesn't want to nurse, but I know that he's getting nutrition.

I'll always love you, mama. Miss you.

Hi There,
I would keep offering. If he does not take it, mix it will his food.
That way he will get all those nutrients he still needs.
Take care.
