She is 25 mos old, so it isn't so bad...but she just all of a sudden stopped! I have been tandeming my 25 mo old and my 4 mo old, and it has been a challenge, so part of me is glad she is weaned, but the other part of me is sad too. Anyone else feel this way when a child has weaned?

aw! (((hugs))) mama, i think all these changes our babies go through are bittersweet. maybe have some kind of little ceremony to celebrate both your nursing relationship with her, and her passage into her next phase of childhood. it could be really simple, just part of your family dinner one night, or it could be a little party with a couple close friends.

congratulations on 25 months of nursing your big girl, four months of tandem nursing, and a gentle child-led weaning!
