This might be a stupid question. If you're allergic to penicillin, do you get reactions eating certain types of cheese? Like those blue veined cheese or brie. They're made by mold in the same family with penicillin, right? Does anyone know?

I was just perusing some older threads and came across this one. I wondered this myself, because I am severely allergic to pennicilian, and also to mold. I've stayed away from these cheeses, cause I didn't want to chance a reaction

I don't think it's necessarily a given. My kid is allergic to penicillin, but she's a cheeseaholic.
