My son's attachment issue

I'm so lucky because all three of my kids are really good behaved, but I have a issue with my two year old named saint. lately he has been soooo obsessed with his dad. which isnt bad but its gone crazy. he will scream for him in the night till he comes, he will cry at his feet whenever he leaves, and he wants to be held by him always. I don't know what to do for him...maybe he will just grow out of it.

I’m sure he will grow out of it. It is very common for children to go though phases of preferring one parent over the other. I would honour the need as much as possible and, when that isn’t possible, provide reassurance and distraction. Trying to “break the attachment” is likely to be counterproductive though. He is too little to rationalise what he is feeling so just go with it and he will develop at his own pace :-)
