Can you make chicken broth using the whole chicken and then make another round of broth using the same bones roasted. I've been wondering this for a while but not sure if it makes good broth using the same bones twice. I'm just trying to figure out how to get the most out of my chickens. Thanks!

I've only managed to get a weak broth the second time around. Nothing worth the gas to boil the water.

I usually double cook my bones. I make one big batch, then strain it. I add a few fresh herbs & veggies and do a second half batch. I've not had any trouble doing it this way.
