Adding 50

Off topic, but what are magic balls? Are scraps of the same weight and compatible colorways Russian joined? I don't have a lot of patience for Russian joining, but at the same time the idea sounds fun! Off to research . . .

Back on topic, I'm doing terribly at this challenge and have decided to find some sort of decluttering calendar to tackle this problem in less overwhelming increments. It seems that there are plenty of options out there in the blogosphere.

I'm the crunchy mom Dr. Amy warned you about.

I have no idea what 'magic balls of yarn' are. I'm way too ocd for that, i need specific yarn , specific amounts, colors, types etc this randomness with loose-ends is NOT my thing. But it gets my tiny bits of left overs out of my house so- go for it yarn club people!

As for less overwhelming options, can you pick a spot and start there? Start small- one pile, one thing, one class of items at at time? Kids old outside toys? a pile of papers on the counter? A box of shredding? The basket of shoes? Sort out the dvd's, donate the VHS tapes? when you do laundry, dont put it away, put it in donate(or trash) then when the bag is full immediaetly take it to the donation center?

2 bags off to the donation place this morning
am about to drop off unwanted books at the library (they started with modern types of shelvings where we can put down and take whatever we want ...)
then drop off 6 clothing items to a store and receive two 15% off coupons in exchange
= feeling productive this morning (it takes me AGES to get started ...)

I am moving to other city and i have revised my wardrobe again. And tossed away a huge bag of those things, you know, you'll never wear but when you look at them you think "well... maybe i will give it to a seamstress to customize somehow and i will wear it...". Dresses out of fashion, too small shorts i will never squeeze my butt into and etc..
I couldn't throw out my vacuum cleaner that is older than me perhaps. Mind the fact that we already have two new ones. It is time, i guess..

Personally, I have plans to move to a new house. I have been planning this for a very long time since last year, but because of work I could not plan. I have already found a new place, which of course needs to be overhauled, but the place is much more beautiful and larger than my last house. My old house has always had problems with sewerage and doors. I am very tired of him and will be very happy to change my place. I have even found the dumpster Rental Whiz service that can help me sort out excess garbage and can take it away. It remains only to decide I will repair the house myself or call a special service who can help me with this.
