Hi mama's

I was wondering if any of you had any favorite short fairy tales or lullaby you could share w/me. Xavier loves me to read and sing to him, but I only know a few and would love some new ones Thanx

What a great topic! These are my favorites to sing to Banyan:

-This Land is Your Land
-Puff the Magic Dragon
-You Are My Sunshine
-The Itsy Bitsy Spider
-Any Beatles Song (He LOVES them)
-We All Need More Sunshine
-Goodnight Sweetheart

Stories I've been reading:

-Aesop's Fables
-The Snowy Day
-One Fine Day
-In the Forest
-Where the Wild Things Are
-Where the Sidewalk Ends
-One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish

But the Above-All-Sure-Fire-Winner of them all:

His own birth story. I just recall the whole day from beginning to end, and by the time I get to his birth, I'm in tears and he's in dreamland. Works every time.

My first loved the Chieftans and Wheels on the Bus (but with toatlly made up lyrics- the dads on the bus say "way to go dude!" the surfers on the bus go "hang ten" )

the littlest likes que cera cera but I only know one line to the song
Pete Seeger is a big hit, too.
