she won't STOP MOVING!!!!

seriously.

beyond duct taping her to the mattress, how do i get this girl to sleep and/or stay still long enough to sleep myself and/or stop crawling and sitting up in her sleep and then collapsing randomly somewhere completely uncomfortable for me and/or her?

DD is one day older than yours. She is doing the same thing. It wakes her up and it wakes us up - no one has been getting good sleep. Ugh. We have crawling, sitting up from laying down, pincher grasp, waving, and I can't think what else going on at once.

I think I may use the duct tape idea...

yup all of this along with clapping, laughing, dadadaing, etc.

i took an hour to get her down for bed last night. she would only nurse until she was full... then she was off.

Oh yeah - the talking... Bababababa .... BA! Obah - mamamama - blah.

She pops on and off nursing and practices sitting up, kicking, rolling around, and then flings herself back at me to nurse more. She hasn't nursed to sleep with any regularity for a long time, though.

Last night went well, actually. Nursed to sleep in the glider (rare!) and stayed asleep when I put her down. (It was 8:40). I'm hoping it means we're moving past this phase...

She did wake up earlier than normal, nursed, and then got on her hands and knees and started talking - then she sat up and smiled at me. Cute, but I'm still sleepy!
