I take a ml and a half of green pastures fermented CLO everyday and I also take about a tablespoon of raw liver. Is this too much vitamin A for pregnancy? My gut is thinking it is okay and that both foods are beneficial, but should I cut down the dose of either one?

Its my understanding that only synthetic vit A is potentially toxic prenatally and that Vit A found in real food such as clo and liver is not only not bad but very good for pregnant mamas and their growing babes.

i have also been worrying about this one. i've bought some of dr rons raw liver and also have the fermented CLO and high vit raw butter - i also eat a bit of chicken liver pate. i emailed dr ron about the doses as i'm a real worrier. he said that its the synthetic A thats the problem, he said that taking 2 tsp of CLO and butter oil and several capusles of raw liver aswell as eating chicken livers is all ok. but if i was really worrying then to just have 1tsp of CLO and butter oil as its best not to worry! but his opinion was the larger dose was better for me and the baby. this was over email and i hadn't had a consultation so i'm just telling you what he told me iyswim! anyway i did feel reassured and so i'm taking the larger doses as i'm also still nursing my 5yr old dd and i do feel quite depleted and so i actually feel like i need it.
