Does anyone have the book or can find it on his website? I used to have the book but lost the recipe for it. I know it has something like mangoes, colostrum, and milk.

I used to be a shopaholic, now I'm a create-a-colic! (Mother to two boys)

Here's what he lists on p.116

KidShake Recipe

3/4 cup organic rice milk (you can use organic cow's milk if your child is over two years old)
1/2 banana
1/2 cup frozen mango or other fruit (not strawberries unless organic)
1 teaspoon flaxseed oil
1 teaspoon colostrum
1 tablespoon liquid calcium/magnesium formula (omit if using cow's milk)
1/2 teaspoon honey (optional, use only if your child is over 12 months old)
1/2 teaspoon vitamin C powder
optional: 2 tablespoons whey protein powder

Are we talking cow colostrum? That is weird. I read an article about that and cows only make if for like 6-8 hours post calving.
I am not sure how a tsp of that is suppose to help your immunity. I mean it is coming from a cow, so it would be helpful to baby cows, but how will it help with human immunity? We don't nessisarily (sp) get the same disease.
(FTR, I am not a vegan this just doesn't make since to me from a milk stand point. I could see if you had colostrum from your own breasts...)

I don't get the use of cow's colustrum either and even though I consume animal products; meat, dairy etc I find the thought rather icky. The thought also bothers me that the calf won't be receiving it themselves, perhaps they produce it in abundance though, I have no idea.

If they sell the cow's colostrum, what do all the little calves get?

From what I understand I don't think calfs in factory farms get any mom cow milk... not sure in smaller farms. But I am guessing that if they are selling the colostrum they are not giving it to the calves.

And now my .02 I think that it isn't that great of a healthy immune shake, since most rice milk has sugar, and dairy certainly isn't an immune enhancer. Certainly, it's a healthier alternative to the SAD! I would take out the rice milk and the dairy, and just add water and ice
