How about you ? Any suggestions ?

Would anyone like a Country/State food swap ?

Like 'selections' of what we have in our state or country - we could list what we have in our area and see if anyone wants to do the 'choice pick or the suprise me pick!

We tried to get a homebaked goodies swap going, but I guess there wasn't enough interest? I'd be interested in a food swap!

You mean like CT Maple Sugar Candy or Salt Water Taffy? Or something like that?

Yup, I'm thinking about having us list our city/state/country goods to send and write what # pkgs you would be willing to send and your swap preference like USA only, or anywhere would be fine with me!

Hmmm sounds interesting. Will have to think about it. What I can afford and such...

I probably won't be ready until the end of the month myself, but sounds like fun.

Munson's Chocolate, Franklin's General Store's Fudge, Taffy, Apple Cinnamon Jelly or Peach Butter. Lots of possiblities in my back yard. Sorry no lobsters fresh off the dock, .

My family of 3 (plus pup) Indigo (Aimee), Rob (dp), Ryne (ds) & Phebe (dog), plus my BIL's family of 3.

Sounds like a Regional Specialties swap to me! These are so much fun. In the past they've been organized in a few different ways. Sometimes they are random matchups, sometimes people choose the package they want and the organizer trys to match everybody up so it all works out: . They always seem to be $20 worth. Sometimes they've included non food items as well. People have participated from all over the US as well as several other countries (Finland and Japan come to mind).

If there is enough interest for a random matchup I can try to organize it (I've never organized a swap before). End of January/beginning of February works well for me.

I'm in Massachusetts and can send things like Maple Syrup, Apple Butter, cranberry anything, Marshmallow Fluff, Teaberry gum (I might be able to find Black Jack gum also), and Pomona's Pectin.

I would love to see items like Birch Syrup, Vernors ginger ale, Tony Chaceres Creole Seasoning, German chocolates, and smoked salmon.

Jess, mom to Phelan Quinn (9/23/95), Wiley Rogue (10/29/03), and Victor Xerxes (9/10/08) and still married to my giant!

Is this a go? I could send delish Baked Apple Butter from Nashville (Brown County), Indiana or some other regional type specialties.

I have a queston - I'd really like to participate but...

would it be okay to ask ingredients & allergy info?

I'm okay with not doing the swap if need be if it's too much trouble.

DD has horrible allergies even thru breastmilk, and then I have my allergies on top of that.
