Would there by anyone interested in a homeschooling stuff swap? This time of year might not be the best time to do one but thought I'd check.

I'd be interested- not sure what I'd send... would it be a regular swap or a reverse swap? (I've only ever done reverse swaps to be honest)

My personal opinion is that this would definitely work best as a reverse swap.

I was thinking reverse swap would work best too. Althought I'm open to any ideas. I realize that those just starting off would have less to make swap packages with...Any ideas on how to make this work well would be great.

Since I'm starting out and don't have much in the way of HS books, would anyone be interested in a package of things like art supplies? Crayons, markers and such?

I think an arts and crafts package would be appreciated- especially if one went to the trouble to include directions and suggestions for specific activities/crafts and the stuff needed for them. There are lots of free ideas on the web- but at home sometimes it can be hard to find an idea for something and have everything I need to do it.

I also think it would be accptable to offer things you can make- like a knitted organ? LOL

The homeschooling stuff category will have to be pretty broad for this swap to work which is fine.

I'm a teacher, so I definitely have stuff I could swap. Don't know if I need anything more (trying to declutter as it is), but someone might just have a package I can't live without. If that's the case, I'd be interested.

I would guess $20? If that makes sense to people.

i was going to say 15 or 20. i think people making craft supply packages will have a hard time coming up with a $20 swap package.... ?

how about $10 and $20 for doubles

also people should indicate if they are willing to ship to Canada all their packages or only some or some for extra shipping

Since I organized the Jan. regular swap am I considered done now that the matches are posted? Or do I need to wait before I can start the thread for the homeschooling stuff swap?

Well, swap participators are considered done with a swap when they send their package(s) so I would think that as an organizer, once you've posted matches that you are in the clear... wouldn't hurt to PM Stephanie though.
