>>>on the horizon!<<< Yippie!

What new vaccine do we need?

How about this little gem!

http://www.deseretnews.com/article/8...on.html?pg=all

A vaccine to prevent us from getting those nasty germs........found in doctor's office, hospitals and other places that we go visit to make us healthy!

http://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/20...l-illness.html

Quote:
The study showed that 71 percent of the cases of C. difficile infection identified among children aged 1 through 17 years were community-associated—that is, not associated with an overnight stay in a healthcare facility. By contrast, two-thirds of C. difficile infections in adults are associated with hospital stays.

Among the community-associated pediatric cases whose parents were interviewed, 73 percent were prescribed antibiotics during the 12 weeks prior to their illness, usually in an outpatient setting such as a doctor's office.

a vaccine to take care of a problem caused by being treated for another condition!

@applejuice I think of you and Hep C!

So who else wants this vaccine? And how soon will be see this a "needed" for school too???

Well hospitals are germy!

Well when a child does suffer following a vaccination the "new normal" is to give antibiotics, so it figures.

sorry, it's a regional thing! different species all that junk!

Being in the Northeast we have "snow birds" AKA those who winter over in Florida, 2nd home - I grew up with a woman who could be in the woods in our area with no issue, go to Florida and break out not being even near densely thick areas! Happened each year to her!

Sorry you are one of those effected!

Come to think of it, allergies are also regional. I had terrible allergies the 6 years I lived in Missouri, close to zero allergies the 3 years I lived in Wisconsin, moderate allergies 13 years in Chicago...and currently I have almost no problems at all.

My current situation probably has something to do with the neti pot, which did a good job clearing out my mucked up sinuses from all those years of on and off allergies
