I have been looking at homeschooling for my son and was happily surprised to find in the About the Author section of Eldest that Christopher Paolini was homeschooled! He graduated from "High School" at fifteen and went on to become a New York Time's bestselling author by the age of nineteen.

My "non-reading" son LOVES these books. He's read Eragon twice and is working on Eldest now. Eragon is supposed to be made into a movie. The author has a website and you can sign up for e-mails from him--it's interesting to follow where he is in the writing/editing/promotion, etc. process.

Single Mom to 3 (12, 17 & 21)  luxlove.gif and dog2.gif.

That's cool, my dd would love it! I just finished Eldest, she is reading it now. I wish I didn't have to wait so long for the last book!
