Ok, from my searching, I've found the names Maureen Dahl out of Princeton(who I contacted, but she's out of town the month I'm due), and then the name Sylvia Koslowski out of Milaca(who I haven't contacted yet because she doesn't have email and I'm so not a phone person, but planning on calling her soon).

I"m about 20 min. from Milaca, so Sylvia would be very close. But in case she doesn't work out either, does anyone know of any home birth midwives in the northern Twin Cities?

I'm already 26 weeks along, so I don't have a lot of time to explore my options. I was seeing a midwife up until this point, but I'm just not comfortable with her, so I want to find someone else.

Help!?!

Sara

Hi Sarah,
I sent you an e-mail from another board you posted on, but in case it gets lost, Joy Parker in St. Cloud will drive at least an hour, let me know if you want more info about her. She was the Midwife at DS's birth and we had a great experience.

Mama to three - DD : 1/03, DS 2/06, and DS 6/09.

We are have a wonderful Traditional Midwife, Marla Lukes. She is out of Fridley.

I am not familiar with where Milaca is though.

Angela, I'm glad you got a wonderful midwife...doesn't that make all the difference in the world? Milaca is north on 169(north of Elk River and Princeton).
