If anyone knows of a VBAC/ECV doctors (or just a crunchy-friendly, evidence based IYKWIM) doctor, I would so, so, so appreciate a referral!!

I'm at 38 weeks and my little guy is still breech. While non of the doctors in my HMO (Kaiser Perm.) are willing to do an ECV (for imagined reasons but I just don't have time to battle w/ them), the HMO did say they would pay for an out-of-network doctor. I am, therefore, working on getting a referral.

Sooo...while dealing w/ the red-tape, I'd love to get another doctor lined up. I'd prefer a doctor who delivers at Fair Oaks or Loudoun...but at this point...that's rather secondary.

I can deal w/ a second c/s....but not until I at least *try* the different avenues possible. (sigh : )

Thanks soooo much!

Lol...I just got the same recommendation from a x-post on another board. Sounds like he and breech babies go hand-in-hand.

Thanks for the tip!! I'm definetly going to give him a call.

Here's a birth story for an MDC mama who had a vaginal breech birth with him. She answers a lot of questions about him in the thread.
