Last year I filed our taxes online and it was so nice and easy. Now we've moved to Alaska, and this afternoon I went back to the same company we used before to start filling in to file online. I knew I'd need to file returns for both states, but when I went to start doing the AK info, they didn't have the form (they had a drop down menu of states to choose from, but AK was missing!). So, I'm wondeirng...does AK not allow online filing? That would seem very strange, considering that everything is online in this state.... or can I just not do it through certain sites?
Can someone recommend a site where I CAN file online for AK (and preferably federal and UT returns as well--it'd be nice to only have to enter it all once!!!!!)

thanks!

alaska does not have state taxes. so you only have to file for part year in our old state.

I always used Turbo Tax too by the way, efile and everthing from my livingroom in Fairbanks or Delta Junction.

You can file online in AK

We filed federal with HR Block and didn't have any problems.

SWEET!
how did i not know this?
although for us, we usually get a refund (rather than owing anything) so no taxes also means no refund...but oh well. less involvement between my personal life and the govt is great in my book!

Thanks ladies!!!
