Latest Zogby poll shows 42% of voters saying that if Bush lied about our reasons for invading Iraq he should be impeached. What do you think?

LOLOL I voted yes, but then, I think he should be impeached for being a moron.... for breathing air that could go to an otherwise intelligent being... like a roach or something.

My disgust of him knows no bounds (and he seems to do something daily that further pisses me off)

If clinton can be impeached for lying about sexual relations w/monica, then bush should be impeached for lying about iraq.

no, don't you know we only impeach people for lying about their sex lives. That is much more important than what they do in their job.

It's been a big unbelievable miracle to me that no one, NO one brought this up when the 9/11 commission report came out and Phil Clarke was talking about how the DAY AFTER 9/11 occurred, Bush demanded evidence that Saddam did it...other evidence to the contrary.

I think that going to war, spending BILLIONS of dollars, sacrificing tens of thousands of Iraqi lives and thousands of American ones, is more than enough grounds for impeachment. I think it's far worse than trying to undermine the election process, as Nixon did, and way worse than lying about porking a needy little intern.

He should be impeached, and then he and his henchmen, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld, Rice, Powell, et al, should be tried for war crimes in a special international tribunal at the Hague. An investigation should also be commenced to determine how many of the above-mentioned individuals should be tried for treason, for subverting the Constitution. :

Yes, he should have been impeached a long time ago.

Well, he should have never become president in the first place, but what does the popular vote know anyways....

And I agree, girlndocs, "whaddaya mean, "if" "

I think if he knowingly lied (and I don't know for sure that he did)then I think yes he should be inpeached. However I think it should wait until the troops are home because they are risking their lives over there and they shouldn't be worrying about that, they should just be concentrating on what they are doing. Bush will still be there after the troops come home.

maybe that's why they want to keep troops there for another 9-10 years.

So even if he DID lie, and it was proven, you still think he's the right man for the job to try to wrap up the mess over there?

Boy, that is sure giving a man a lot of leeway. Yeah, you lied, and got us into a war, killed ten's of thousands of Iraqis, and thousands of Americans, ruining tens of thousands of American families, but. YOU GO GUY! You're the man to finish the job!

I just don't understand that viewpoint. And can't imagine I ever will.

I just don't think right now is the best timing for an impeachment.
