My mom bought it for me

She and my dad are coming up tonight and sleeping over for a visit - so I'm going to do the test tomorrow morning. (she is a SUCKER for any new gadget and wants to be here when I do it, I think)

I'm so excited! It has a pretty good percentage correct - like 90% in usage (higher in their labs)....I'm plenty far along and I'm nutty about following directions - I can't WAIT!

I'll be sure to post tomorrow about what it says......I'm guessing it's measuring unusually high levels of testosterone in the urine - or the absence of it, yk? Can't think of any other way it could work!

Julia(34), Mommy to: Maddie(10), Grace(6), Charlotte (3) and our only Little Man (due 2/23).

It's a crazy life!

Did you actually use Intelligender? or some other product? I'm hoping this one is right. I'm fully expecting another girl -but then again, this kid has caused me so much angst - maybe it IS a boy

I got mine from ebay for about $18 shipped. I don't think you can get them at drug stores, but are very available on line

I'm pregnant with #2 right now and I plan on trying Intelligender again. It was correct with my son, so maybe it will be correct this time around too! I think it's important to look at it as something fun to do, I wouldn't go out and start buying stuff until the u/s confirms it. Just in case.

I'm not in your DDC but saw this under "new posts".

My friend who is due in June bought and used the Intelligender test quite a few months ago and felt rather sad when the test clearly told her she was having a third boy (she was hoping for a girl). A few months later, at her 3D ultrasound, the test results were disproven when baby girl's genitalia was clearly shown.

Personally, I wouldn't spend the money on Intelligender. My friend's cousin used it, too, and the results were wrong then, too.

It'd be nice if the alleged 87% accuracy was actually tested by an outside lab.

It is a scam. Actually, it is right 50% of the time Really, though, it is a scam, it just tests the ph is your urine, which can change from day to day. BUT, it is a fun little thing to do My mom has actually guessed right 20 out of 21 times. I trust her more. She says I am having a girl, and I will let you guys know on Thursday after my u/s!

yeah - you know, I did it and it was fun - but I was really hoping for a really cut and dry result and it just WASN'T. I don't think I'd spend the $$$ again (though, fyi - my Mom DID see it at Walgreens the other day!).

I think it said girl, but honestly - it looked different in different lights, and depending on which side of the test you were looking at. (when compared to the green stripe, it 'might' have looked green - when compared to the orange, it looked kind of orange!) Then I took photos - with the flash on it looked one way, with no flash, it looked another way.

So, anyways - I say the result is girl - and we HAVE two girls (so I could've guessed that withOUT the test ) but we'll find out for sure on Good Friday at our u/s.

ComfyCozy- you sneaky little thing! Do you know that I had NO IDEA who you were when you posted that? I was thinking, that person acts like she knows me, who IS she?

Then I remembered that you asked me and Amy to both be on your friends list on here months ago and we PMed about it on CM trying to figure out who the heck ComfyCozy was

So- now, I see this post and decide to check your other posts to try to figure out if I should know you and - darn it all- I saw your names picked out for this baby and realized who you were:.

That wasn't always your username here was it?

Now, seriously, someone tell me this baby's gender. I have to wait another 5 weeks for an US!:
