I have a desperate craving for SOMETHING...but I can't figure out what it is! Sounds really crazy, I know. I just keep thinking that I have to HAVE something, but nothing fits the bill and everything is making me sick.

I did finally get my sushi the other day. And I decided that I was not craving sushi at all. I was craving the wasabi and pickled ginger! Yummmy!!! I ate more of that then the actual food. Then, I put the wasabi and ginger on everything else on my plate!

Any misspellings or grammatical errors in the above statement are intentional;
they are placed there for the amusement of those who like to point them out.

Carls Jr. Chili Cheese fries. And nothing else will do. DH laughs every time I bring it up - but yet won't get them for me.

It's probably better that way though - those things are rediculously unhealthy.

I was craving bananas, but when DP went and bought 6 of them for me, I didn't want then anymore.

I'm also having weird cravings for chicken and dumplings, and turkey sandwiches. I've been vegetarian for 13 years and this is the first time i've had meat cravings.

Coke!

But I always crave Coke. Ice cold Coke, from a can. A Coke-red can, of course. I think there is something subliminal about that color. I hardly ever drink the stuff, I don't think I've had one this entire pregnancy, but still I do desire that cold wet bubbly evil stuff.

Dairy. Which is strange for me because I eat an almost vegan diet most of the time. Maybe my body is crying out for more calcium?

And of course now I want a burrito! I'm from San Francisco, living in Europe where there's not a decent burrito to be found.

I read these threads knowing they will give me cravings. . . why do I do that to myself. I also browse recipezaar.com looking for cravings. I made lemon cheesecake bars today after browsing and they are good but after 3 of them I think I'm about done. Need to find a friend in town to give them to so that I don't eat all that sugar anyway, most my friends close by are on weight watchers though so I wouldn't be a friend to bring those to them!

blueberry/raspberry pie. I bought one at a farmer's market a couple weeks ago. It was gone in three days (all me minus one teeny tiny slice I shared with DH). I tracked down the bakery it came from, made the 45 minute trek last weekend to get another one-- closed. DH entered sainthood status for me when he popped in this week and bought me a second one. SOOOOO GOOOOOOOD. next time I go, I'm buying three and freezing two! :

Mmm, pie. That sounds fabulous.

It's cold and rainy here (which makes me think FALL!) so I'm craving pie, pumpkin bread, stew and- most of all- apples!!! I bought like, 10 apples yesterday and I've already eaten 4.
