I posted a thread a while back (yeah, 2 months I'm a bit behind ) about embellishing these longies I finished. Couldn't decide what to do. Well, they are finally totally done!! I went for hippos.

Looks great! Did you knit that separately and then stitch it on like an applique? Or did you duplicate stitch it?

Mama to a dd 10/05; ds 3/09, dd 2/15 and two angels. Expecting another miracle 7/16!

The hippo is actually crocheted and then added on later as an applique-type thingie. I found the pattern poking around on ravelry trying to get ideas.
