If your body doesn't fit into factory size charts, then I would recommend that you sew something that fits you the best. Use quality fabrics because they last after multiple washings. Sewing is a creative outlet for many and make great gifts.

It's much easier and cheaper to buy clothes now than to sew it. But to be honest, I prefer clothes made by a dressmaker than any branded clothing. Because you can order anything and the dressmaker will sew such an outfit that only you will have.

Sewing cloths will always cost you more as you select the fabric after that it is stitched according to the design that you need. The dress which you directly buy from stores will not fit to your body. So its always better to get the cloths stitched. Better quality products are always costlier.

I would say that sewing clothes it's cheaper just in case you are sewing it by yourself because you spend money only on the material.

I prefer paying than wasting my time, honestly, so buying is a preferable option for me.

I'd say that it may be cheaper, but so much time wasted on this, it may be cheaper if only you like sewing and it's your hobby
