The Ergo carrier was suggested to me and I was wondering what kind of reviews you all had on it. I have a sling but we haven't adapted so well to it and I feel there is a better fit for me out there. My LO wants to be held constantly so I really need to the ability to go hands free. I also want...

I'm really wanting an ergo carrier but with my youngest and last being 2 1/2 yo I know I really shouldn't buy one. So I've been looking for a pattern and haven't been too successful. Last night it hit me though-maybe I can take the belt and straps from our frame pack and convert them into a...

I have an old Ergo that works just fine, but I wanted a new generation one because it has some features I like better. Also, we have two kids now and occasionally we wear dd. Anyway, I bought a new one and the strap to the sleeping hood came off completely within a month. I brought that one...

I bought an ergo baby carrier as a gift for my husband who was not crazy about my slings and wraps. I tried it on yesterday. My DS has been sick for more than a week and I wanted to get some house work done while tending to him. It fit on back. I did not think I could wear it while pregnant. I...
  5. I'm Pregnant
I will be about 19 weeks pregnant in July when my DD, husband and I take a trip that will involve a lot of walking. I really don't want to haul a stroller along, plus DD pretty much hates it. DD is 3.5 and I can still carry her pretty well in the Ergo. Does anyone have any experience using...

Has anyone tried the Ergo Baby Carrier out? Just wondering because it looks really handy and comfy too! I would like to try it because I need something to carry my baby in on my back! By the way...I just found out that you can win one at <a href="http://www.alongfortheride.biz/contest-s/49.htm"...

Well I've heard such amazing things about the ergo and I have a few questions:<br><br> 1) In the pictures on some of the seller's websites, it appears that there is a small zippered pouch on the carrier itself. Does this come standard with all of them or am I actually looking at the additional...

How essential is the infant insert for a newborn? My baby is 3 weeks old tomorrow and about 8 pounds or so. Should I just get the insert?<br><br> Thanks.

My ds is a small 6 mo. and I just got the ERGO carrier. I've used it a few times and the front position works great when he's asleep, but I find he gets frustrated in that position if he's awake because he wants to be looking around. He used to sit in a Maya ring sling all the time and lately...

I hate to be an advertisement for any specific carrier, but I'm in love with this carrier!! I had some cheapy brand from Target and it hurt my back so much! I kept wondering how you mamas could carry your babies after they got to be over 15 pounds! My step-mom bought me the Ergo and I barely...

Can anyone tell me if I need to worry while having my dd on my back in the ergo carrier with CD's on? I've heard about "pressure leaks", but I'm not really sure what those are? I'm guessing its from them resting on their bum? Anyway, I don't want her soaking through to the Ergo if I can help it...

I have found at the Ergo baby site that I can get the carrier, infant insert and tote for $120ppd<br><br> Is there any better deals than that out there?<br><br><br> Thanks!!!

Has anyone used it? It looks really good to us. We had a Baby Bjorn and a Hip Hammock, but both were really hard for DH to use. Slings are not good for him either. I was never able to get the hang of the Didymos and this one just looks like it might be the ticket. So - any experience?

I recently bought a used Ergo and while using it I keep thinking of how to make it better. I got it mainly for the back carry. I used the front carry yesterday so dd could nurse to sleep while out. I wondered about a carrier that was like the Ergo for back carry, but for a front carry could...

Does anyone else have one? My little guy is just getting big enough for it now. What do you think? What do your little ones think? Just curious if I made a good choice.

Is it sold in brick and mortar stores?? I usually carry dd in the Maya Pouch or Baby B'jorn. The B'jorn KILLS my shoulders and I need to find something similar that is more comfy. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px...

Hi<br><br> I just discovered that my Ergo Baby Carrier has a deceptive tag that is at the bottom of the pocket on the carrier that says "Made In China". I only discovered this because I was looking for something in the pocket and happened to see this tag at the bottom of the pocket. We are a...

Hi I was wondering how much you like them and if they are really worth the money. Are they comfortable for wearing for long periods of time?
