I have an Ergo, DD has outgrown her K'Tan (she's 24 lbs and 16 mos). I am in the process of buying a Maya Wrap for her and I'd like a Mei Tai. What brands do you recommend?

We love our Ergo, but I'd like some more options.

I have owned a few carriers, but mostly used my padded ring sling due to comfort and the variety of positions for baby (and toddler!) I also had a hotsling (pretty but not very comfy or versatile and the fit was never quite right as you couldn't easily adjust it...

My favorite carrier with my first DS was the mei tai. I'd love to wear my six-week old in one, but when I put him in froggy-leg he stiffens his legs so he's standing in it and cries. Is he too little to spread his legs to wear him the regular way?

I have a ring sling that we absolutely love but DD is about 28 lbs and just turned 1. She is walking but has her moments when all she wants to be is held. The ring sling is killing my shoulders. I'm looking for something that can spread her weight out a bit more, maybe a Mei Tai. Opinions...

DH wants something "manly" to wear DD in (he finally saw some guy wearing his baby and talked to him about it...) so I want whats going to be practical for the two of us and that will be able to hold a baby or a heavier kid. Is there a way to get both benefits in one carrier? IDK anyways...

I'm having my first in April and am trying to figure out all the carrier options. At first I was sure I wanted a structure carrier, but I was just looking at the Kozy site and think they look cool.

Anyway, here's my question: with carriers that you tie on...

I just got this mei tai-style carrier, and I like how it is more convenient to get on and off than the industrially-made kind I have with buckles (I think that kind is called a soft structured carrier, but I'm not sure.)

The problem is, it doesn't support baby's head. The carrier I...

I need help with my Baby Hawk Mei Tei.

#1 I feel like it's too loose on my shoulders and the straps slide towards the edge of my shoulder. It pulls hard on my shoulders.

#2 the straps tend to roll up and dig in around my waist fluff.

So the title says it all- if you are a really plus size mama, have you tried a Mei Tai style wrap, and if so, which one has fit best?

I'm trying to finish up my registry, and was looking at the Maya Ties...

Has anyone tried them? How did they work for you? ...

I'm new to babywearing and need a little help, DD is 3 months old and weighs about 12 pounds. I'm 5'8 about 155 pds. I would like a baby carrier that I can use now and up until shes about 2 years old or so. Any suggestions?? I'd appreciate it! Thanks

When my 3 yo was little, I used an Ergo for the most part. I don't have it anymore (wasn't expecting another child). Now I am due in May. I have a wrap that I made out of cotton-linen fabric similar to Moby which I think I will use when the new one is nb. But I also would like another...
I have two littles who like to be worn- both are well over 20 lbs.

I want a toddler-size mei tai with a hood.

I need/want xl straps.

I would love seat darts- or at least angled straps on the bottom to create a nice pocket (I have a kid who loves to straighten his legs to...

We were walking around the mall today when a guy came up to me and said: "Ma'am, is that a boy?", pointing at DS, in his mei tei. I asked him why he was asking that, to which he replied.....

"Well, I am a doctor, and you should stop wearing him in THAT THING right away, because he will...
