Concern over HPV vaccines continue everywhere:

About 10 percent of those harmed by the cervical cancer vaccines Cervarix and Gardasil haven’t recovered yet, the health ministry has learned, adding that the June 2013 moratorium on promoting the drugs will stay in place.

According to a ministry survey of 1,739 patients, 186 were still experiencing side effects including headaches, fatigue and muscle weakness since being vaccinated, ministry officials said. Some of them lost their ability to walk.

In 135 of the cases, the problems are so severe they interfere with daily activities, including school and work.

Health minister Yasuhisa Shiozaki said Friday that the ministry is planning to begin research on why the side effects occur and potential treatments for them.

Yes, the Japanese are smart and good at math.

But when it comes to vaccine injury they make dumb and obvious mistakes, refuse to admit it and, worst of all, hurt Merck's bottom line.

Here is skeptical raptor, sorting it out:

http://www.skepticalraptor.com/skepticalraptorblog.php/japan-and-hpv-vaccine-debunking-myths/ this leads to his earlier article explaining why the Japanese are so stupid.

I continue to think that the main thing they are doing wrong is hurting Merck's bottom line.

They don't seem to be very good at math. I mean how else could you look at 186 cases of headaches and muscle fatigue spread out over years on one side and 3,350 deaths from cervical cancer in a single year on the other and conclude that the former is the more dangerous/serious risk?

That is also going with the assumption that these are all related to the vaccine, which evidence has not demonstrated.

There isn't solid evidence that the vaccine will prevent cervical cancer in the future.

Note that Teacozy is minimizing what are very serious side-effects in very young girls who have not yet recovered. They may be ill and disabled for the rest of their lives.

But it is obvious that given a choice between assuming that Merck is greedy and dishonest (something that is well documented in the real world) and assuming that the Japanese government is stupid and bad at math, the pro-vaccine will defend Merck.

Yes, it's really all very, very sad, especially that they are saying the Japanese are bad at math. It is clear that any excuse, no matter how poor the excuse, will be made for any sort of severe reaction after vaccination. I won't be entertaining myself with the article from skeptical raptor if that's the jist. Just ridiculous.

Lol! Would you care to go head to head in a math challenge with one of those Japanese children in the video I posted? It's an odd comment considering Japan continuously outperforms countries in the west in math, including the United States. They are smart and it's not debatable. Actually, I believe Japan outperforms United States in many subjects, if not all. Actually, the question is is it America that has it all wrong.

Let's trust the pharmaceutical companies, one of which is under fire for falsifying data recently, and blame very intelligent countries for their "fuzzy" math. Great plan.

It is a very funny argument, isn't it?

The Japanese are good at both math and science. Their crime in this case is not trusting Merck. No more. No less.

And here is one of the Danish studies on illness following vaccination http://www.danmedj.dk/portal/page/portal/danmedj.dk/dmj_forside/PAST_ISSUE/2015/DMJ_2015_04/A5064

has anyone seen a rebuttal of this article?

I think this is important, because, although these girls are being described as having POTS, it doesn't seem to be exactly the same.
We may have diagnosed more than half of these patients with POTS – but POTS should probably be looked upon as a symptom secondary to another yet unidentified condition rather than as a disease entity of its own. This is underscored by the fact that patients ex*peri*enced the same degree and pattern of symptoms regardless of the POTS diagnosis. The underlying aetiology behind POTS is still somewhat elusive and the prevalence of POTS is most common in the same subset of the population that are receiving the HPV vaccine (young women) [13], which complicates the aetiological discussion. We found a close chronologic association to the vaccination, but are well aware that this does not necessarily imply a causal relationship.

Skeptical Raptor doesn't seem to be addressing the article I linked to and quoted above, talking only about an article about POTS with a smaller group of patients.

This is actual footage of a number of school girls, in Colombia, suffering from seizures etc. after being vaccinated with the HPV:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3JgRx12EVA
How can anyone watch this disturbing footage and still be in denial regarding the terrible side effects of this unnecessary vaccine?

This is an excellent presentation on the HPV Vaccine:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3J6VPRJndM
That is horrendous and so totally distributing. I had a hard time watching it and had so many thoughts and questions going on in my mind as to why this is being allowed to continue to happen to children. Does anyone have a translation to that video? I'd love to hear what was being said. I have no idea how anyone can support the HPV vaccine after seeing and hearing all that has been going on around it. It totally boggles my mind. These poor children.:crying:

Parents are sick and tired of the lack of information being given regarding the HPV vaccine in schools and the way in which it is "forced" (indirectly of course) upon their children without full disclosure of side effects. It appears they want that information hidden from the parents, and hidden well, with "no additional information" circulated to the students about the vaccine. They want to keep the issues with the HPV vaccine on the DL because they know the majority would realize actually how questionable that vaccine is, if they don't know already. Parent's protests and all of the additional investigations into this vaccine should be enough to make ANYONE scratch their head and question the entire process. It's too many to count, and we know these parents aren't making these things up. We also know the pharmaceutical companies have been caught red-handed carrying out questionable activities far too often and have a tainted history of doing so.

A CORK-FORMED group is taking legal action against the HSE to prevent the roll out of a cervical cancer vaccine in secondary schools before a European investigation into the vaccine’s safety profile is complete.

The National Citizens Movement is seeking an injunction against the HSE, claiming that the health authority must provide more information to parents before they can give their informed consent on Gardasil HPV vaccine. The full list of reported side effects — 20 of which are published on vaccine producer Merck’s manufacturer leaflet — are not currently being circulated to schools, or parents, before consent forms for the vaccines are sent home with pupils.

And a letter sent from the HSE to secondary school principals specifically stipulated that no additional information should be circulated to students on the vaccine.
This move has angered some Cork parents, who feel that they are not being given the time to make a fully informed decision...

The vaccine’s safety is being reviewed by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), after the Danish Government noted that significant numbers of previously healthy girls developed similar chronic conditions after being vaccinated. So far, the EMA has not advised countries to change their national vaccination policies ahead of the release of its final recommendations, and the HSE has not yet altered its vaccination policy.

A HSE letter sent to secondary school principals asks that only HSE information be included with the vaccine consent forms sent to parents.

Some campaigners want the manufacturer’s full list of 20 recorded potential side effects to be circulated to parents as well.

However, the HSE made the decision to circulate the pared-down information due to a recommendation by the National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA), which warned that as about one in four Irish adults have literacy problems, some parents would have difficulty understanding technical details.

Some parents also expressed concern to the Evening Echo that not enough information or time is being given before parents are expected to return signed consent forms.
