My mom gave us $100 to spend on an outdoor toy for our girls ages 2 & 4. I am willing to spend more that the 100, but probably not 100 more. We have a small yard, that basically has no flat area. There is a small area at the top that is flat and we have a small flat patio. Besides just little toys, our only current outside toys are a basketball hoop (Little Tykes), a sand/water table, and a wagon. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

Not sure where you are located but here, we are really coming into garage sale season. I could really do well with $100 in a weekend or two! We also have a great kids consignment shop that always has quality stuff.

My kids love the coupe cars. They also love their (Little Tykes?) schoolhouse/playhouse.

HAve fun shopping!

Craigslist often has metal or Little Tikes swingsets for around 100-150 in our area. That would get you a swing and a slide, which might be a nice addition, and might be small enough for your little flat portion.

Good luck!

If you have a tree, I highly recommend the monkey rings, swing and rope ladder from Ikea. They are super affordable, and have given my little ones many hours of fun. Even my 2 year old would swing on the monkey rings, and it has given her great co ordination and strength. With your leftover funds, you could get a sandbox or kiddy pool.. or maybe start a childs garden with them. kiddy slides seem to get alot of play at that age, too.
You could also check kids consignment stores.
