I recently took a journal making class where we used 100 % wool felt from Nepal.

I was wondering if anyone has any good sources of 100% wool felt? I really want to continue making things with wool and would love a larger variety than my local store has.

Thanks
At this time of year, Joanne's has a pretty good selection of wool felt. They don't carry it at any other time of the year, though.

Thanks for your reply. I have a JoAnn's very close to my house so I will check them out tomorrow. Maybe I will stock up for the year.

In my experience, the only 100% wool Joann's has had has been in only one or two colors: I recall black or dark blue, and maybe an ecru (but I might be misremembering that one.) They've had wool blend felts, both on the bolt and in multicolor packs of cut wool. The packs of cuts had a higher wool content, but I haven't seen those in a long while.

I find 100% wool felt at the bookstore at our local Waldorf school.
