Happy May!!!<br><br>
What are your goals and plans for this month!<br><br>
I did 1500 last month so I'll stick to 1200 this month. Cross Country season starts in June - so I know I'll jump back up to 1500 then. I'm afraid if I try 1500 for three months in a row, I'll injure myself<br><br>

Goal is 1500 minutes since I'll be tapering for a marathon the last 2 weeks of the month.<br><br>
5/1 - 10 min walk, 55 min run<br><br>

I'd like to join in this month!<br><br>
I just started doing couch to 5k. Today I did week2, day1, which was 29 minutes and then I walked the rest of the 5 mile loop that I was running on. I stopped at the general store for a while in the middle (coffee, sunday morning loitering with my neighbors<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink">), so I'm guesstimating the time for today.<br><br>

5/2 - 40 minutes Girls on the Run Race with my niece!<br>
5/3 - 25 minute quick run before the rain got me!<br><br><br><br><br>

I'll come back again. My car dying and forcing me to walk and use transit really helped me get to 1000 minutes last month, so to add more gym time I will make my goal 1400 minutes in May.<br><br>

And I realized I didn't state a goal at the beginning of this thread -- my goal is to keep up with c25k, and find ways to keep my body in motion on the 'off' days from c25k as well. I'm not shooting so much for a particular minute amount, but 1000 seems like a good goal to start with -- I'll adjust next month, if needed.<br><br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up">

5/8 - 60 minutes total.....30 minutes in the gym - squats, lunges, arms and shoulders plus 30 minutes weeding - didn't really get my heart rate up weeding, but it was back breaking and I sweated like pig!<br>
5/9 - taking today off (maybe!)<br><br><br><br>
