Help, I NEED to eat less sugar. I crave it when I ovulate and when I menstruate mostly but I seem to "have" to have a little every day. My diet is on the more natural side of the mainstream (ie, I know I eat better than plenty of people), but I find myself visiting the pantry for a treat more often than I want to, or know I should. And I am breastfeeding! On a metaphysical level, I think because I am a control freak, I use treats as a way to be deviant (and eating sweets when I was little was "bad"). I also know that eating sugar creates a feedback cycle where the more I have, the more I want. So, what foods will help decrease my desire for sugar? Anyone have an affirmation I can use or a similar experience they can tell me about? Do I need to cut it out cold turkey? TIA

Sounds like you have a yeast infection.... I crave sweets too, but I did a yeast diet and it helped a lot, also got rid of skin problems I was having as well as hormonal problems (Spotting before cycles etc...)

You might want to do this questionnaire to see if you have a yeast infection
http://www.inno-vite.com/ (click on Candida and do the questionnaire)
