or even go in high chair.

He won't even taste things. Used to but not anymore.

I'm not too worried bc he's bfed but it's more in terms of learning to eat properly and cleanly that I'm concerned.

any thoughts anyone?

Stop making it an issue. Offer him bits of food on a low table (a coffee table works well for us) and just leave them available. Have him join you at the table (in your lap if need be) at meal times to see that everyone else is eating. He'll join in soon.
