My lovely little 13-month Clementine has no teeth and no signs of them coming ... I mean the forms in there but she is not showing the traditional signs of "teething". Any ideas? Odd? OK? Thanks!

Not so odd - my ped told me he's seen teeth come in as late as 17 months. Teething patterns tend to be hereditary - I bet if you ask, you'll find lots of late teethers in one of your families. The only concern I would have is that your DD's teeth are going to come in very close together, time-wise, so teething may be extra intense. Of course, it'll also be over a lot sooner than most! No matter when teething starts, almost all kids have a full set by 2 1/2.

My oldest 2 were 12 months before any teeth then they both got the top ones first. < did i mention I was a dental hygienist> If there is no teeth by 18 months you may want to have an xray dont just to make sure. My oldest is 13 now and still has 3 baby teeth left. Everything comes in its own good time
