Anyone, anyone?

(Bueller, Bueller?) lol

I turned 14 weeks on Monday and am still waiting for any movements at all. I keep thinking that it'll be any day now after I read threads of people feeling their babies at 11-13 weeks, but realistically, I didn't feel DD until 18w4d and so I probably have at least another 2-2.5 week wait. And I need some company during this wait. I'll probably be the very last one of this DDC who will feel their baby and I need some cheering up in the meantime. Well, not cheering up really, b/c I'm not "sad" about it or anything... maybe distraction is a better word to use. So distract me.

Me! I'm in the same situation. I turned 14 wks on Mon as well.
I think I maybe have felt some movement, but I'm still not sure. Mostly I've felt muscle twitches and some bubbles - but they've been above the top of my fundus, so they couldn't have been movements, right? I'm thinking it must be gas. They say second time Moms feel it earlier because they recognize the feeling, but it's been 7 years since I was at this point with dd - so I think I've forgotten what it felt like.

A couple days ago, Monday night, I felt this jolt from my belly button area that felt like the baby gave me a swift kick. It was so pronounced and surprising that I jumped and gave a yelp. My dh says it's because he or she is a tarheel fan. It was so strong that it makes me question whether it was really the baby - I didn't think you could feel it that strong this early. Also, nothing since then. Some bubbles or feelings that could have been gas or muscle twitches. But if that truly was the baby, wouldn't I be feeling more stronger movements? I wonder if the baby knew I would be skeptical until I felt a swift kick, so he or she gave me one! But I'm still skeptical! I'm just a skeptic by nature. I don't know what else it could have been, but I don't think it was the baby because it was just too strong.

Me! I'm 13 weeks, and haven't felt anything, either. Well, I think I might have felt something really really vaguely, but not even worth talking about

So, yeah, I am excitedly waiting to feel some real flutters and then movements, definitely my favorite part of being pregnant.

count me in. this is my first, so I'll be surprised if I feel anything before 18-20 weeks.
(i thought i might have felt something once, but it hasn't happened again, so I'm chalking it up to digestion movement instead.)

I'll wait with you... *doo doo doo doo doo* (that's my waiting humming noise)
12 weeks and haven't felt anything yet; this is my first so I imagine I'll have a long wait.
So you ladies who have done this before, what is it like when you first feel it? Did you totally freak out (in a happy way)? Because I think that's what I'm going to do.

It was on my lunch break at work, and I was alone in the break room. I felt a distinct little tap, and made a little gasp to myself and thought "OOoo what was that?" Then it happened again, and then one more time.
All in the same little spot. And then it stopped b/c baby must have gone to sleep, lol.

The very earliest I've felt a baby was 14 weeks.
I'm barely 12 weeks now so I have some weeks to go.... but I'm soooo excited!

I am with you, I am about 14 weeks and have not felt any movement. I am not expecting any for at least another 4 weeks. I had an anterior placenta with my dd and my midwife today from how the doppler sounded is expecting an anterior placenta again. As long as my pregnancy symptoms continue and I see my midwife and hear the heartbeat with doppler every so often it doesn't concern me right now.

I first felt my son at 16 weeks, just one solid "thump" in the center of my belly. Then for the next couple of days it was just tiny flicks in there. By the end of the week, he was bouncing around so hard that I could feel it with my hand! And he has not stopped bouncing around since!

I am 11+1 right now and sooo excited for those little movements. I love the 2nd trimester! But I do hope this baby is a little *less* active than my first!

Gosh, I'm not positive when I felt DS. I know it was 18+ weeks. The placenta was anterior with him. This ones placenta is fundal/anterior and my uterus is folded over. I don't think I'll feel much for a LONG time. I can't wait!

I'm 13 weeks and some days, and have not felt anything yet. I am not expecting to for a month or so more. I felt both of my sons sometime around 18 weeks, I think. I think it's much more typical to feel the baby after 18 weeks, than it is to feel him/her before that, so I wouldn't worry about it with that still about a month away. Keep in mind that the baby is still less than 4 inches long at 14 weeks, and only weighs a little over an ounce. It would be pretty hard to feel movements from something the size of a little field mouse through all that skin, tissue, and fluid.

14 weeks tomorrow. I thought I felt something a couple days ago, but since it hasn't happened again, it probably wasn't the baby... so still waiting.

lol, you know you grew up in the 80's when you know what this means.

almost 12 weeks and i got nothing too. i think a few weeks ago I felt a flutter, but nothing really since then.
i keep laying down and trying to see if i can feel anything. the only thing i feel is what seems like it would be my pulse but without continuation. so maybe the baby is bouncing around in there? all i know is i cant wait to hear the heart beat again.

lol. I had to put that in my very first post, b/c I have a habit of killing my own threads before they even get started, so w/ that scenario, it seemed appropriate.

I have been trying to be patient but I heard the heart beat for the first time today and now I feel like I am holding my breath for just one little kick. I will be 14 weeks tomorrow, but I didn't feel my daughter until I was almost 21 weeks. So I think its time for me to start breathing cause I may have more than a month to wait.

I posted yesterday that I felt like I had a long wait ahead of me...but then.....while I was eating a late night bowl of Cherry Garcia, I felt it. Just a tiny little shift. At first I tried to blow it off but then I felt it again and it was right in the area the baby was in when we heard the heart beat, so I was sure.
:
I bet you'll all start feeling some twitches soon!
