15 and Pregnant

I was watching LifeTime today and they had a movie on about a girl that was 15 and pregnant (hense the title!) so the girl was asking her older friend (17-18 years) what her 2 year old eats everyday. she did the normal breakfast/lunch/dinner items and then said breastmilk for bedtime!! this movie was made in 1997 so it surprized me that they had an "older" baby drinking BM!!! but i was very happy!

And for teen mamas too! So refreshing compared to young mamas being told they can't breastfeed because they're too young.

This was one of the movies that made me think about breastfeeding (all the babies in my family were ff)

Wow, that's awesome! I've actually seen a couple other Lifetime movies (did I just admit that
) that had breastfeeding mamas and one with cloth diapers too. I was thrilled

I've actually seen that movie, and while I wasn't thrilled with the protrayal of teen motherhood, it's good to see breastfeeding mentioned in such a positive light! I was a teen mama and it's harder for teens, but only because society makes it that way. I loved having my kids young and I wouldn't have done it any other way. Breastfeeding was wonderful and I miss it everyday!
I watched this today too lol!

I agree. I hated the ending....daddy woeking in an ice cream shop, hating his life, etc. (lol, I just thought of Men on Film "Hated it!" lol) But it was an awesome mention of the breastfeeding.
