i was really frustrated with diapering DD. my pails smells awful, my covers are leaking and she fights me when it's time to change her. i decided to let her go pantless and i was just going to clean up after her all day just to get a break. we have a Baby Bjorn Little Potty and she's used it once in a blue moon. normally she'd sit on it and then pee 5 minutes later on the floor. 3 days later we've had maybe 6 accidents and she's going on her own. no reminding or redirection, she just runs over and goes. we left the house today and she didn't tell me she had to go and her diaper was wet when we got home. i'm not really sure where to go from here. i'm completly caught off guard and don't have any trainers or undies for her. any one have experience with their LO potty learning on their own?

I don't have any experience or advice, I just wanted to say congrats to you and your DD! Can you send some of those self-potty-learning vibes our way?

thanks and we'll be sending vibes to anyone who needs them. things are still going great. DD pooped in the potty for the first time today. i just can't get over her doing it all by herself. since i don't have any training supplies she's still in diapers at night and when we're out. she was nearly dry this morning. i order some XXS undies that i'm going to stuff with some liners to make trainers.
