Who knows if I ovulated before my first PPAF. I think I did, because I remember feeling something like O pains, and I remember being afflicted by the munchies for about a week, and then PPAF showed up!

So, last night I had definite O pains ... even contemplated a tylenol at bed time just to get comfortable. Today, cervix is soft, and very definite EWCM (something I don't usually get!). Thing is, I'm only on CD 11.

My normal cycles are textbook, O on CD 14, AF on CD29/CD1.

My Q is, is it normal for a first (or second) PP cycle to be a short one?

And lastly, just a thanks to my babe and my body for a joyous 15 month AF free post partum run. Kind of makes me look forward to menopause ...especially since we're done having kids!!

Most women have longer cycles at first with shorter luteal phases, but as your hormones are gearing back up, I wouldn't consider short cycles abnormal either. You might consider temping to get a better idea of what is going on.
