At the moment I'm just going with the OB/GYN office at the practice where my PCP is. . they're the ones that have been monitoring me and got me going on the progesterone supplements when they thought they might be called for. I feel like until I'm done with the progesterone injections (and possibly until I actually GET to meet the OB) I should continue with them, though I really have no intention of delivering at the hospital that they have access to.

Anyhow.. the appointment went well. They are all very nice but I feel maybe a little to use to the less empowered and knowledgeable consumer. My BP was good for me (I have wicked white coat syndrome), took the many vials of blood. It was too early to really even try to hear a heartbeat and after attempting to feel my tilted uterus the NP decided to try to squeeze me in for (another) quick u/s. So for a brief minute my DH and I got to see Speck. . there's still a heartbeat (I'd seen that with the last u/s) and things looked good.

So again on the up and down travels of feeling secure/insecure in this pregnancy I am at least on the up side again
Now to make the call to the birth center to get that ball rolling.

I've had 2 early miscarriages in the past year. Since the last one they were really monitoring my hormone levels. After becoming pregnant my progesterone levels were going down (even though I was already on the vaginal gel supplements). . They upped me to vaginal suppositories. . no change in progesterone blood levels. Until the progesterone injections. There seems to be some ancedotal evidence that progesterone may help women who've expereinced recurrent early miscarriage.
