About a week and a half ago, my toddler (2.5 y.o.) had a short bout of a stomach virus. That night he threw up, had a high fever, and his #2 was runny. This lasted for less than 24 hours. However, since then (about 10 days), he has been making #2 on a much more frequent basis, especially at night (easily needs to be changed 2-3 times per night).<br><br>
This seems very strange to me-- wondering if he still has some sort of bug in his system? if so, any suggestions for how to help him? Also, because he is making so frequently, he has a pretty bad diaper rash. And on top of all this, no one in the house is sleeping well- we keep getting up to change his diaper!<br><br>

I would suggest giving him a probiotic to help get his intestinal flora back in order.<br><br>
And I would also suggest propolis cream for the rash, and then a good thick layer of barrier cream. I use Desitin.
